Job Description
Reporting locally to the CFO, Carnival Australia (CAU), with a dotted line to the SVP Supply Chain Holland America (HA) Group and functional line to CPO (Miami), this position is responsible for the local end to end delivery of the supply chain function with a focus on technical and hotel goods and services across vessels for all brands (initially concentrating on home-ported ships in this region).
Leading a team of four buying and logistics specialists the incumbent will work closely with the Supply Chain HA Group (Santa Clarita) and All Brands Group (Miami) to ensure forecasting, sourcing, expediting and logistic activities are delivered in accordance with local stakeholder needs and company standards. As the local supply chain representative, the incumbent will be the ‘subject matter expert’ for all procurement matters including: pricing, supply, service level requirements and agreements and issues with local vendors.
Desired Skills and Experience
We seek applications from people with several years’ experience managing a complex supply chain function encompassing the sourcing, procurement and supply of raw product (as opposed to corporate goods or services).
