Reporting to the Vice President, Operation and Optimization Software Activity you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic business plan whilst actively managing and implementing development priorities for the Supply & Demand Optimisation business.
An active member of the Software leadership team your role will involve but not be limited to:
Maintaining close relationships with the market (customers, evaluators, industry analysts and potentials) to develop awareness of market needs;
Seeking new opportunities to leverage the current or extended software offer to deliver new customer value;
Developing a software offer roadmap that is consistent with the strategic business plan;
Working with the Software Sales organization to ensure target growth in sales funnel, orders and backlog to support the fixed cost structure and work towards greater efficiency;
Managing relationship and development activities with remote development centres;
Developing, managing and providing monthly reporting on key activity KPIs (eg. Quality, Cost, On-time Delivery, Customer Satisfaction);
Pro-actively managing relationships within related businesses and stakeholders with in Schneider Electric.
Desired Skills and Experience
Required Skills and Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Software Development, Marketing, Business or Computer Science;
Substantial experience in a managerial role within a technology environment;
A proven track record in delivering profitable business growth;
Highly developed ability to work with and influence all levels of internal and external customers and stakeholders;
Previous experience leading and working as part of matrix organisation to deliver jointly agreed objectives;
Demonstrated ability to understand and analyse customers business needs and requirements;
Experience with P&L Management;
Familiarity with software product life cycle and customer models.
