Job description
We are looking for experienced Director with experience in Program and Portfolio Management to join our team because we are looking for fresh ideas and innovative minds to assist with a number of high profile client and projects.
Our focus is on building a group of portfolio and program advisors in capital, social reform and the most complex enterprise transformations. You will have an opportunity to be part of this and leverage from leaders in this field and build your own brand within EY.


To be eligible for this role you also MUST be an Australian Citizen and be able to hold a security clearance.

Desired Skills and Experience
In your role as Director with the Program and Portfolio Management team you will:
Support clients with successful delivery of their programs, leading to the growth of a business
Be the day to day lead of the EY Canberra Program and Portfolio Management competency
Be involved in complex capital programs spanning the entire lifecycle - from concept, feasibility& financing; through planning, statutory process & design; into procurement, construction, commissioning & operational readiness
Review value for money, affordability, benefits realisation, supply chain metrics, value engineering and commercial proposals
Track record in people management and building teams

We are looking for people with the following experience:
You will have ' hands on' experience on major capital projects (infrastructure or social), business change programs as client/owner or part of contractor teams
10 years + experience in positions including strategy, project management/engineering, risk management/project controls, commercial ( inc. EPC), legal and/or regulatory compliance
Sound analytical and problem solving ability
Experience in using scheduling and/or cost control project software
A degree qualification in engineering, science, law, accounting, economics, business and/or finance
