National General Manager - Channels - IT Business - Schneider Electric - Sydney

The Schneider Electric IT Business (ITB) is a global leader in critical power and cooling services, providing industry leading product, software, systems and services for data centres.

As a key member of the Schneider Electric ITB senior leadership team, the National General Manager, Channels is responsible for growing Schneider Electric?s ITB revenue and segment share in the IT and electrical channels in Australia. This position works very closely with the ITB Sales Director and branch management to develop and refine strategy and leverage their field teams to execute on the strategy.

The expected contributions of the position to the results of the organization include:
Revenue and share growth within all routes to market.
Develop channel strategy, business plan and territory plans.
Manage, coach and develop the Channel Account Managers (CAM) and Distribution Manager.
Define and drive overall accreditation program evolution and enhancements.
Increase in active partner numbers and FOP (Frequency of Purchase).
Identification of key market trends and new routes to market/strategic alliances to drive growth.
Ownership of the IT Channels for the broader Schneider Electric, identifying and executing on opportunities to take other business units into IT Channels.
Set up management systems for the channel target including CAM cadences, Quarterly Business Reviews with key partners and BfO (Bridge Front Office) management.
Achieve margin and profit optimization.


Desired Skills and Experience
We are looking for the following attributes:
Track record of delivering sales results and business growth through leveraging channels and alliances.
People leadership, financial (P&L) management, technical sales and marketing, strategic thinking and planning, forecasting and budgeting, risk management.
Bachelor degree in business or IT.
Minimum of 8 years sales management experience in an IT/Technology company.
Ability to work effectively in a global matrix environment.
* This role can be performed out of our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne office.
