This position is based out of our Preston office and leads our sales teams servicing retail clients in Melbourne's North and North West area.


About The Role:
Reporting to the General Manager Sales - Leader, you will execute a high value sales model strategy across the North/ North West portfolio of Leader publications. You will be a strong manager of managers, and maintain a high performance sales team and customer-centric, innovative culture.

Your strategic sales approach will enhance Leader's market reputation by emphasising audience leadership and strengths across all platforms and marketing solutions. Working closely across internal departments to develop effective sales and business plans, you will drive new product initiatives in the most commercially effective way.

You will lead from the front with your exceptional ability to develop and maintain influential relationships with key client and agency stakeholders.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will require:
Outstanding leadership ability, with experience leading managers in a Sales environment
A strategic approach, with the ability to work across internal departments to drive new product initiatives in the most commercially effective way
The ability to provide a strong influence and a customer-centric approach within the sales team
Digital nous with an awareness of the digital landscape and its commercial benefits
Business planning ability with a strong results-orientation
Previous exposure to CRM tools - Salesforce is desirable
Excellent interpersonal and written & verbal communication skills
Previous experience in a multiplatform media organisation will be viewed favourably
