Due to growth of the Retail and Consumer sector, we currently require an experienced Director to join the Retail & Consumer Operations team. Within Retail & Consumer Operations our areas of speciality include advising major retailers and consumer goods companies on operational performance, multi-channel and online operating model design and performance improvement, Buying and Merchandising, Global Sourcing, Store Operations, Supply Chain, trading terms including promotions management and trade spend optimisation and working capital management and optimisation.

Reporting to the Partner and the external Directors senior executives of major retail and consumer clients. You will work in a team environment where it expected that you will perform as a leader, mentor of coach of other staff members. Working remotely from the client site, you will also be responsible for the development of opportunities within our Retail & Consumer clients as well as operational project work across all retail formats and consumer brands including selling work and presenting deliverables at appropriate levels. Your success in the role will be measured on your ability to develop opportunities with target Retail and Consumer clients as well as project managing team members in terms of expectations and deliverables and liaising directly with the client on a regular basis. You will also form part of the Retail and Consumer leadership team, you will also be involving in supporting the development of the practice by mentoring an coaching team members and being active in thought leadership and market eminence.



Degree Qualified, the successful candidate will require at least 5 to 10 years’ experience in consulting with ideally a further 5 to 10 years’ experience in the Retail and Consumer sector directly. You will have specific experience working on major retail clients either locally or overseas. Broad experience in Stores, IT, Merchandise, Supply Chain & Change Management will be highly favoured. As a highly engaging, self starter you will demonstrate the confidence to build relationships with high level internal and external stakeholders and a passion for the retail space that will see you drive innovative solutions for clients in this space.
