Dell Data Protection Encryption (DDP|E) is looking for an Sales Director to manage key accounts in EMEA and APJ. The successful candidate will manage the field sales team members and represent, communicate and execute on specific sales strategies. Role Responsibilities:
Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group.
Provides direction, development and inspiration to team members.
Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce.
Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members.
Manages field sales team members in the sale of the organization’s products or services to specific existing named or strategic accounts on a national geographic basis.
Manages all direct field sales account managers, may manage indirect and overlay field services account managers.

Responsible for assisting in the quota setting at the team/individual level and attainment of all key quota measurements.
Customarily and regularly engaged at client facilities. In other words this person is a very hands-on manager/leader.
Responsible for organizing cross functional teams’ engagement with account.

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
8+ years leadership experience, strong people manager skills with the ability to manage, drive and motivate a team.
Educated to third level required
Strong selling skills with the ability to coach direct reports and develop opportunities with larger customers.
Experience and strong ability to liaise with customers at an executive level - face to face.
Ability to multitask/run multiple activities concurrently. Effectively handle multiple ad-hoc activities.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, communication and presentation skills
Ability to deal with ambiguity and multiple direction changes.
Strong drive for results, while retaining a focus on consistently delivering a great customer experience.
