Role Summary/Purpose:
Role drives all aspects of new product development and introduction across the business segment. Strategic thought leader on the positioning of new products in relation to the competitive landscape. Executive leadership of a sizable team of product development resources across a diverse range of products, channels and segments for the organization.
Essential Responsibilities:
Own, develop and drive the new production introduction process for the business. Own NPI from Ideation to Execution, including product specification, wing-to-wing experience, and financial proforma's. Business wide leadership of value proposition strategy. Identify retailer / credit / consumer/partner and industry needs through segmentation and research–benchmarking value propositions against competition. Own competitive intelligence function and budget for the business. Participate in all new deal pricing, RFP responses, due diligences events and negotiations. Drive GPB product and value propositions strategy – prioritize and own investment budget. Lead business loyalty strategy, including vendor relationships and rewards platform. Act as the "Integrator / Instigator" for all new product NPI's. Monitor and report on key success metrics for value propositions and NPIs. Work closely with and lead cross-functional teams, in a matrixed environment. Provide leadership to the new product organization across the business.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. 1+ years marketing experience, preferably in credit card or financial services. 5+ years of product management experience. In-depth business expertise and commercial awareness demonstrated through 7+ years of experience planning, designing, building and/or running business functions or processes. Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives and projects in a matrix environment. Experience managing organizations and other professionals with a minimum of 5 years of managerial responsibility. Strong PC proficiency (MS Office Suite) or comparable software applications. Proven track record of launching new products or applications with demonstrated business impact.

MBA, Graduate Degree in Marketing, or Quantitative Discipline. 5+ years demonstrated work experience in a consumer finance environment, ideally with retail or Brand experience.
