National Account Manager - Toll Holdings - Melbourne
Job description
Due to an internal promotion we are currently seeking a National Account Manager to manage a portfolio of key strategic accounts and the acquisition of new business utilising Toll Intermodal services.
Key Duties Will Include:
Liaise across all Toll business units to deliver a seamless account management function primarily focussed on Toll Intermodal growth
Retention of growth strategic accounts
Fulfil the following account management functions for each strategic account basis:
Professional relationships with key decision makers
Contract Negotiation and Management of Contract Terms
I- Lean (continuous Improvements programme customer supply chains)
Conduct Client /Business reviews
Revenue growth through agreed growth strategies
Account planning preparation and presentation
Tender Management as required
KPI reporting and presentation of reports
Client entertaining via company sponsored events
Yield maximisation through productivity efficiencies
Cross selling with other Intermodal state businesses as well as other Toll Group business units
Market analysis and competitor intelligence
Undertake commercial responsibility for the account and escalate to key stakeholders areas for improvement
Desired Skills and Experience
To be considered for the role you must possess knowledge of management and customer information systems and an understanding of costing principles as they relate to transport. Excellent negotiation and presentations skills are essential as is strong commercial acumen and financial knowledge. You will ideally have exposure within the transport industry, otherwise exposure in a services based industry will also be considered.
You will have solid tender response experience and a knowledge of Dangerous Goods, OH&S Policies,multi-modal equipment and supply chain design capabilities would be highly desirable. An understanding of palletised and bulk freight handling procedures would also be a benefit
