Airport Manager - Etihad Airways - Perth

Job description
Successful candidate will be responsible to manage the safe and cost effective operation of Etihad Airways at the Airport. Liaises with Ground Handling Agent Management to ensure Etihad ground handling and customer service standards are met at all times. Liaises with Airport Authorities and all Government agencies, represents Etihad at the Airport AOC.

Ensures safe operational environment at the Airport
Work with the respective departments in the airport operations to maintain safe operations
Liaise with Senior Management; Ensures operations are within budget at the Airport
Monitor budget on a monthly basis to ensure targets are met
Prepare budgeting for the Airport
Training and resource planning, work with Ground Services and Training Manager to provide all required training for the airport team at minimum costs to Etihad
Represents Etihad on the Airport AOC
Attends AOC Meetings and reporting to Higher Management

Desired Skills and Experience
Degree Level is desirable with minimum 8 years’ experience within an airline ground service environment or GHA operations environment including varying supervisory and management roles.
Training & Knowledge:
Wide and varied training courses attended and skills gained in an airline environment covering various aspects including sales, marketing, public relations, negotiations, security and management skills.
Extensive overall knowledge of all areas and the airline/airport operations.
Must have team-building and leadership abilities
