Job description
The Director of Marketing ANZ is an experienced marketing leader who will drive marketing efforts in Australia and New Zealand by partnering with the business as part of country leadership teams and leading a team of marketers to execute the country marketing strategy.

As a member of the country leadership team, the Director will contribute as a thought leader on both business and technical issues related to marketing and customer experience and will also play a leadership role in strategic planning. This position is expected to work as a key strategic partner with the country managers in formulating go to market strategies in order to achieve the revenue objectives for the Australia and New Zealand businesses.

The Director will be fully responsible for the following functions:
Country marketing plans for Australia and New Zealand including country and vertical segment marketing plans for positioning, customer segmentation, acquisition, retention and expansion plans.
Implementation of country marketing strategies, including demand generation, customer and market segmentation, product launch, channel partner management, sales training and tools, presentations, competitive analysis, lead nurturing, content marketing, e-marketing, loyalty/retention and cross-selling

Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications with at least 10 years related experience and thorough knowledge of B2B and consumer marketing and communications practices – corporate communications and media relations, marketing (internet and traditional), and lead generation and strategic planning. Proven experience in using marketing to build an organisation’s revenue, brand and identity is a must as is excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, and highly effective facilitation, presentation, planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
