In this newly created and challenging role you will manage the delivery of projects under execution within General Insurance and Shared Services. Reporting in to the Head of Business Delivery, you will ensure projects are delivered on time with a focus on quality and successful stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities of the role include:

Oversee the initiation of projects and business releases
Manage the allocation of resources to projects
Lead and manage business analysts & project managers
Maintain the currency of tools, techniques, templates, knowledge and expertise on the business analysis, project release & project life cycle processes
Proactively manage risk assessments and ensure compliance across regulatory, industry and organisational standards
Support the continuous improvement of Zurich's business architecture

Requirements:

Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business or related field
Project management competency in line with National Competency Standards for PM (NCSPM) BSB01-Business Services -Level 6 Project Management Competency Standards
Understanding of general insurance and the ability to identify business issues relating to the industry
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Strong negotiation, influencing and facilitation skills
Demonstrated ability to take a strategic approach to costs/expenditure and allocation of resources
Understanding of organisational business plans, with the ability to anticipate the impact of decisions and actions on strategy
