General Manager - Watts Next - Brisbane
Job description
The role of the new General Manager is to achieve the strategic vision of the business and drive profit growth through the provision of quality products and services delivered in line with the businesses vision, mission and values.
The four key responsibilities of this role:
Sales leadership
Operational leadership
Cultural leadership
Financial leadership
With an emphasis on driving growth and future planning, this role will also oversee all business operations including finance, HR, project management and service delivery. This also requires active participation in growing networks and developing new business.
Desired Skills and Experience
This role is for a true leader with experience managing a multidisciplinary team. You will require resilience, structure, an understanding of business deliverables and the market, execution of service and development of business.
The ideal person for this role will have a background in construction or an aligned industry. Degree qualifications in Business or similar will be highly regarded as will higher levels of education. You will have demonstrated experience in a comparable position with a strong focus on driving growth and aligning the business with their vision mission and values to achieve the strategic vision.
As in any leadership position, you need to have a strong understanding of people and ability to drive performance.
The salary package offered will be dependent on experience and includes a company vehicle and incentive structure based on profit growth.
