An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Marketing Director to lead their Corporate Marketing division across Australia. This role represents an outstanding opportunity to elevate Samsung’s brand with an even stronger focus on delivering their brand message of relentless passion to inspire and enrich the future of technology.

About the role

Reporting directly into to the President, the Corporate Marketing Director will be responsible for the leading the Samsung Corporate Marketing centre of excellence portfolio; which oversees the Digital, Social, CRM, Corporate Affairs and Insight Generation teams. You will also be responsible for managing Samsung’s corporate sponsorships and premium programs to drive brand affinity and loyalty. Acting as Samsung’s spokesperson for clients and external media contacts, you will play an influential role in shaping brand perceptions and promoting the company’s vision across the market.



This leadership role will facilitate the creation of best practice corporate-wide marketing strategies and activities through the functions outlined above that support the Australian market to achieve revenue, sales and profit targets across all product categories. A key success measure of this role is to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders that translate into the ability to deliver complex projects.

Desired Skills and Experience
University Degree or Masters in relevant field
Minimum 10+ years of senior level marketing leadership experience
Extensive experience in managing a global T1 corporate brand is critical
Previous experience managing, leading and developing a variety of capabilities within a team
Experience at being a company or brand spokesperson
Industry and product knowledge a plus
Project Management Certification is preferred
Entrepreneurial flair with the ability to be flexible, agile and versatile
