Our Nespresso coffee brand appeals to the discerning coffee enthusiast, who will take time to peruse, taste and meticulously consider their coffee or coffee machine purchase.

We are currently recruiting for a National Sales Manager to lead our B2C Sales Team. Your mission is to make Nespresso the best in class brand with our strategic partners, implementing key sales and trade marketing plans to meet corporate objectives. You will be accountable for the efficient set up and functioning of the sales administration and field structure. The National Sales Manager will drive a high performance skill set to develop a team of Sales Promoters, including but not limited to recruiting, training and development.

The successful candidate will be a highly effective people leader. Recruit, train, motivate and define the annual training needs of the sales team to deliver superior performance and results, providing feedback and on the job training. You will drive the sales team to perfect execution in store, running efficient operations and keeping the field team highly motivated and committed.

The National Sales Manager will coordinate and implement the distribution strategy and all retail sales activities, increasing brand visibility at store level. Establish and manage the relationship with stores, guiding the field team to implement sales and trade marketing plans in store. You will be accountable for achieving agreed sales targets, ensuring optimal investment by managing budget allocation. Ensure an effective evaluation of the results and establish actions to maximise investments and profitability based on retail classification, potential and sales strategy.

In order to secure this role you will have a minimum of five years of sales force management experience, as well as experience in Trade Marketing and Key Account Management. The National Sales Manager will have proven strong leadership skills and experience in people management and developing high performance sales teams as well as demonstrated success in previous roles. A high degree of commercial acumen and experience in managing budgets and maximising ROI is essential, as is knowledge of trade and distribution.
