Head - Strategic Partnerships - APAC - ROKT - Sydney

Through our innovation, we have signed some of the largest names in digital and have scaled our operations across Asia and into the United States. Looking to hop on a rocket ship? After recently completing a $8M Series A round to help drive our global expansion, we are looking for a Head of Strategic Partnerships APAC to play a crucial role in expanding our products and services in Australia and across Asia.

This high achiever will join our Australian leadership team and work closely with all key managers across the ROKT business. We are looking for a team player with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, a credible track record of achieving breakthroughs and the ability to handle complex stakeholder relationships. Key accountability is to independently develop, negotiate and close new partnerships that will help ROKT rapidly enhance market penetration in Australia and across Asia. This person will define a comprehensive partnerships strategy with a bias towards execution.



The area: Partnerships

There's always more inventory and data out there, and our Partnerships team works hard to get it. We develop strategic relationships with organisation across a wide array of industry verticals. From eCommerce brands and technology providers through to major airlines and publishers, we find innovative ways for them to reach, acquire and monetise their audiences and manage their digital assets. We find great inventory and channels for our products, and we work with our partners to drive new revenue channels. From negotiating agreements to solving technical problems for the largest names in digital, the partnership team is in the pursuit of data, inventory and digital consumer access.
Desired Skills and Experience

Responsibilities:

Initiate, structure, and negotiate high impact strategic partnerships in Australia and across Asia
Prioritise partner verticals in relation to the ROKT’s product roadmap.
Define an APAC partnership strategy
Oversee technical implementation with new partner projects
Represent ROKT at industry events.

Minimum qualifications:

BA/BS degree. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience.

Preferred qualifications:

Business development experience negotiating complex media or Internet deals.
Proven track record of initiating and successfully driving new business opportunities with detailed knowledge of the online industry.
Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally and externally
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid, and collaborative environment.
Solid understanding of core online and digital technologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
