POSITION SUMMARY
To take ownership of the business relationships between Visa and our clients through business development and sales efforts aimed at ensuring profitability and development of Visa's brand, reputation and business presence and impact. This includes development and execution of business strategies, business plans, sales and projects which propagate profitable business for Visa and for our clients.

JOB SCOPE
Develop and achieve country plan objectives through client account management and business development efforts.
Establish and maintain positive, beneficial and constructive relationships with key client contacts and influence client preference for VISA through provision of valuable business solutions through Visa capabilities.
Facilitate and direct internal Visa operations in response to specific client's requests and ensure delivery of essential business support in line with growing Visa's share of wallet with the respective clients.
Co-ordinate and present business development and product implementation opportunities to clients.
Achieve specific client product and volume targets. Participate in market analysis and local business development and/or product development strategy; develop and submit account and/or product plan.
Access & contact with key influencers & decision makers at client organizations.
Rapport and support demonstrated by clients and shown through client willingness to consult with, seek advice and share information regarding portfolio augmentation
Client Satisfaction Survey results: in line with targets.
Client business plan: implemented & achieved in conjunction with local and regional management, maintain account profile.
Responsible for account and product business planning and submission of product propositions to clients for consideration.
Recommend strategy for securing individual clients’ agreements and engagement with Visa initiatives
Develop individual business case justification for investment decisions and propose to both Country and Regional Management for approval.
Participate in local executive, marketing and operations committee meetings and provide interface between Visa and clients.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
Professional
Tertiary qualified with a business/marketing degree
Extensive business experience
Strong negotiating skills
Presentation skills
Payments Industry knowledge or experience
Advertising, general management and business strategy experience

Technical
Data processing and analysis
Financial management
Project management
Computer literate with PowerPoint, Excel, Word Outlook and internet skills

Business
High level of account manager with general sales experience.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong relationship management skills.
Confidence and ability to influence and negotiate.
Entrepreneurial
Self-driven, team player.
