AdExchange Technical Account Manager - Google - Sydney


Job description

The SalesTech team is a solution-generating force that helps our sales teams and advertisers. These solutions need to be scalable to support millions of customers worldwide. In addition to troubleshooting on the customer side, we work with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better tools and services to improve our products based on the evolving needs of our users. As a cross-functional and global team, it's our job to help keep the lights on and the ads fresh.

As a AdExchange Technical Account Manager, you are responsible for providing technical solutions and managing relationships with Google's largest and most strategic online publishers. As a liaison between your clients and our technical staff, you flawlessly lead deployments, implementations and integrations of a variety of our product lines (such as Search, Mobile, Video and Commerce). From monitoring product performance to debugging and troubleshooting product code, you are the resident expert that addresses partner needs and drive new business opportunities. You are a technical expert with an entrepreneurial drive and passion for client management.

Responsibilities
Perform implementation reviews, evangelize new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
Troubleshoot of client issues including 3rd party infrastructure, and conduct technical walk-throughs of new product features as they relate to client product usage.
Construct SQL queries to access information in Google’s internal databases for the purposes of reporting and troubleshooting.
Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.
Collaborate with the regional/global Sales, Services and Engineering teams or lead efforts to monitor exchange activity and track performance against goals.

Minimum Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Programming experience and an interest in technology.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience troubleshooting technical issues.
Proven work experience in client facing role, including 2 years of industry experience.
Working knowledge of SQL, HTML & JavaScript - UNIX/Linux is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a dynamic matrix environment and able to manage competing priorities.
Familiarity with the ad serving industry, ad exchanges, and networks and real time bidding an advantage.
Communication and client-management skills. Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
