Job Description:

We are seeking a sales executive with excellent communication skills to work in a fast paced technical sales environment.

Key responsibilities

Develop territory/account plans on focus accounts to achieve/exceed annual quota
Work with prospective customers to discover their pain-points and develop solutions
Build customer champions and develop relationships with key decision makers, influencers and partners.
Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
Develops clear and effective written proposals/presentations for current and prospective customers.
Manage effective cross-functional working relationships within EMC
Manage multiple partners, customers and opportunities, maintaining accurate forecasting and clear management communication.
Drive referenceable customer satisfaction in all assigned accounts.
Travel within your assigned territory is required

Desired Skills and Experience

Minimum of 2 years of sales experience
Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving, and time management skills.
Competitive, refuse-to-lose attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent team building and influencing skills.
Demonstrated ability to innovate – someone who displays original thinking and creativity; who meets challenges with resourcefulness; generates suggestions for improving work; develops innovative approaches and ideas; presents ideas and information in a manner that gets people excited.
Intelligent with the ability to pick up new concepts and ideas quickly.
Knowledge of the IT industry, preferably application software would be helpful
Must be able to present technical concepts to non-technical users
Proven ability to work independently, without administrative support
Attention to detail, highly organised, with an absolute focus on quality of work
Initiative – volunteers readily; undertakes self-development activities; seeks increased responsibilities; takes independent actions and calculated risks; looks for and takes advantage of opportunities; asks for and offers help when needed.
Positive, self-starter attitude with desire to exceed client expectations and ability to work extended hours when required
BA/BS in Business, Management, Computer Science, or Engineering fields preferred.
