Job Description
This is a key business development role for the retail insurance business, as the key contact point for the dealer network and Mercedes-Benz Financial Services sales team for all retail insurance related topics. In close cooperation with the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services (MBFS) Dealer Relationship Managers sales team, this role is responsible for driving performance with a strategic view of the market and retail opportunities. Specific responsibilities include:



Work with key internal stakeholders to ensure MBFS' overall insurance financial and statistical targets are met
Ensuring critical elements are in place to maximise sales results and achieve financial targets
Identify strategic dealer targets to increase our retail insurance support, in addition to generating corporate insurance leads
Identify and develop specific dealership insurance sales training and tools
Monitor market developments, conduct benchmarking and identify product development opportunities
Evaluate the point of sale systems and insurance sales processes to ensure we maximise potential sales opportunities

Desired Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will be confident and professional in your approach, with the capacity to execute and achieve strategic targets. Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in the insurance industry, with proven success in sales and relationship selling, will be key to your success. The ability to work well under pressure and pro-actively look beyond the surface to solve problems and develop alternative commercially-minded solutions is essential. An understanding of the automotive and/or financial services industry will be highly advantageous.
