About the role
Working closely with the Sales & Customer Relationship Management teams, the Customer Solutions Director will drive a number of functions including pre-sales consultation, sales closure support, program implementation and sales team support. Reporting the GM - Telephone, Online & Population Health (TOPH), this is a high profile position which will see you liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders to deliver commercially focused outcomes. Leading a highly focussed team responsibilities will include:

Work with sales team and clients in understanding their issues/challenges and deign the solution
Work with sales team and marketing on identification of target markets and specific opportunities for growth
Manage the process of prospect/client needs identification, TOPH pitch, and solution design, documentation
Tender management and work with Sales & Relationship Management teams to develop compelling 'win' strategies

Inform Product Management, and Strategy and Innovation on product changes required and/or new areas of opportunity to explore based upon market insight
Post sale, ensure projects are implemented on time on budget and to both client and business satisfaction
Management of Tender Team and Salesforce.com team outputs
Build strong and enduring relationships with Government (at all levels)
Working with Sales & Relationship Management teams to develop compelling 'win' strategies

About you

Your expertise in consultative sales, solution feasibility and delivery will be the key to your success in this role and coupled with your exceptional communication skills, you will be able to forge strong and productive relationships to ensure successful outcomes for Medibank. Additionally you will possess the following:

5+ years' experience in healthcare environment and ideally high level experience in e-health/telehealth
Experience in commercial modelling & negotiation
Provide ability to identify market needs and develop solutions
Tender/proposal/pitch management and development
Cross-functional experience and proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and multi-task
In depth knowledge of the sales process and sales development
Detailed understanding of B2G marketing practices
Team leadership experience
