Enterprise Architect - Fuji Xerox - Sydney
Job description
We are currently seeking applications for the position of Enterprise Architect for a 24 month fixed term contract, to enhance, align and maintain EA framework to meet Fuji Xerox Australia's business strategy whilst supporting and participating in the governance structure established through EA to maintain Fuji Xerox Australia's architecture integrity.
Reporting to the Program Director and with line management responsibility for other architects, you will provide advice and guidance to executives and other architects on business and technology change initiatives that require alignment with the program. You will produce and refine the program change portfolio blueprint that reduces complexity and provides business agility, and roadmap for the program to deliver.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Establish, align and maintain EA framework, EA policies and standards to meet FXA business strategies
Business, Information, Application and Technology domain of the Enterprise Architecture are consistent, coherent, communicated and governed to maintain FXA's architecture integrity
Assessing strategic change initiatives and presenting architectural recommendations in line with the strategic vision for FXA and wider industry best practice
Produce and refine a strategic blueprint that reduces complexity and provides business agility, and roadmap for PMO to deliver
Manage a team of architects within the architectural practice of T&I team to be productive and effective
Advising and leading the EA governance forum to ensure the delivery of desired business benefits
Perform business and technology impact and EA alignment assessments for strategic initiatives and communicate impact, tradeoffs, risks, costs, benefits and opportunities to stakeholders
Review, coach and assist other architects in maintaining Enterprise Architecture domain to ensure consistency, coherency, and contain an appropriate level of detail.
Establish and publish templates for architect to use as standards
Leading or supporting one or more architecture development assignments across strategic projects.
Work closely with PMO to align and define EA activities and Solution Architects activities within the project framework to manage stakeholder expectations and requirements.
Desired Skills and Experience
Over 10 years experience in the IT industry
Over 5 years experience working directly with Enterprise Architecture in environments of business transformation
TOGAF certification – preferred
ITIL v3 foundation certification - preferred
Tertiary qualification – ideally in business or a technical field
Experienced in developing Business Processes, Information, Application and Technology architectures for complex Enterprise environments
Experienced in business analysis, software development methodologies, project methodologies and management
Experienced in Risk, Issues and Change management and vendor management
Track record in working with staff and client personnel in the implementation and use of architectures, standards, and guidelines for the specification and management of a solution.
Proven experience in working in a team environment and the ability to work autonomously within established methodologies and standards.
Proven written and oral communication skills and demonstrated effective customer liaison including effective leadership, coordination, influencing, negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
