Marketing Planning Manager - Hyundai Motor - Sydney


Job description

As part of our efforts to become Australia’s most loved car company, Hyundai Motor Company Australia is pleased to announce the newly created position of Marketing Planning Manager (Permanent). This position reports to Director of Marketing and will be accountable for marketing intelligence – identifying industry / consumer / economic trends, competitors’ activities, business opportunities plus strategic planning and more.

Responsibilities Include:

Co-ordination of marketing planning, budgeting & reporting.
Review of media/channel spend, strategy & creative vs. HMCA brand metrics, web site traffic/enquiry, dealer traffic/test drive/order, PR coverage, social media & call centre activity .
Overseeing of existing/new research work undertaken by HMCA Marketing
Strategic counsel regarding brand direction and growth
Review of international research outputs.
Other Ad hoc duties requested from parent company, leadership, Marketing department, agencies and other HMCA departments

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

Relevant Tertiary Qualifications and equivalent experience
Knowledge of marketing intelligence system and experience of marketing research methodologies
Knowledge of the wholesale & retail automotive industry
Advanced verbal communication skills: presentation, influencing, and negotiation.
Advanced written communication skills e.g. documentation of plan, report-writing
