Job description
The Apple Solutions Consultant (ASC) actively promotes the sales of Apple solutions in the Apple section of retail partner store locations. Through their strong sales, service and product knowledge the ASC is able to deliver all the key metrics for success at these locations.

eg. Sydney CBD - Elizabeth Street, Robina, Gold Coast. Melbourne CBD - Bourke Street
Adelaide CBD - Rundle Mall, Perth CBD - Hay Street

The store location for this role is Sydney City.

Key Qualifications

Essential
Retail sales experience (1-3 years)
Proven track record in the delivery of aggressive growth targets against closely measured goals.
Experience in proactively and directly approaching tentative customers and enthusing them about innovative products and lifestyle solutions.
Aggressive goal focus and strive for continual improvement
Customer Service experience
Advanced Communication Skills
Excellent presentation skills
Strong technical aptitude
Mature approach, decision-making and follow thru.
Highly Desirable
Familiarity with the PC platform
Hardware and service sales background in a retail environment
Involvement in carrying out in-store merchandising plans
Apple product and channel experience.
Understanding of operations and logistics

Description

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
RETAIL SALES and SERVICE
- At minimum meeting the sales, service and attach rate goals set for the store locations and in most cases aggressively beating these goals.
- Ensuring individual and store results are always high in relation to other locations.
- Be actively involved in all store level activities to insure the highest possible revenue targets, service and attach rates are being fulfilled.
- Maintain high levels of customer service, satisfaction and integrity and minimise dissatisfaction and returned product.
- Develop a strong working relationship, team-work and respect with other retail staff and store managers at the locations.
- Implement and deliver Apple directed initiatives and leverage Apple strategies and programs.
- From time to time, as directed by the consumer sales manager, ensure other non ASC retail locations are maintained to the highest level, and that store staff are well briefed and trained on new products and programs.
- Other duties as assigned by Consumer Sales Manager.

TRAINING
- Personally maintain a very high level of up-to-date sales, product and service knowledge at all times, in order to deliver the best customer solution.
- Cross-train other non-Apple retail store staff in order to drive optimal results at the locations and mutually sharing the rewards.
- Aim to be a guru and leader in an area of specialisation eg. Professional Product Mix and become a peer leader for the region.
- Assist with in-store training presentations to educate customers on the latest in innovation and total solutions.
- Redeliver in store seminars on Apple specific products and solutions, as developed by Apple marketing.

OPERATIONS & LOGISTICS
- Maintain in constant contact with Apple Operations to ensure smooth order and delivery process.
- Arrange weekly sales meetings with store managers to discuss inventory levels and restocking requirements

MARKETING
- Ensure that Apple product merchandising is always up to standard and updated as required to meet brand, product and segment specific information and promotions.
- Actively work on initiatives to drive repeat sales, as well as new sales to the store locations.
- Develop unique selling opportunities and programs with store sales manager and Apple Consumer sales manager.
- Always represent the Apple brand to the highest level.

Education

Formal Sales qualifications and training would be an advantage.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
This is a full time commission role. 60/40 Base to Commission split.
