Senior Business Development Manager - Wipro Technologies - Sydney
Job description
As a Senior BDM, you are expected to identify, evaluate and win business opportunities in the
Engineering and Construction(E&C) sector in Australia.
You will be responsible for creating visibility for Wipro and forging excellent working relationships with key stakeholders in the identified existing and new targets in Engineering and Construction Industry.
Responsibilities
Revenue realization and order booking from E&C sector
Lead meetings/sessions with the customers/prospects at different levels, including top and/or middle management
Relationship building with key stakeholders
Supports pre-sales and development of proposals and ensures their consistency
Actively participates in the conceptual design of new ideas and the preparation of proposals for internal approval
Account planning ( inclusive of forecasting) and Governance
Desired Skills and Experience
10+ years of experience in selling complex IT services to E&C Industry.
Exposure to Core Natural resources systems and technology infrastructure
Functional experience in Natural resources in particular
Deep understanding of the decision making process in large E&C Oragnaisaions and sector ( Business and Technology sides)
Ideally well networked at E&C CXO levels in WA.
Excellent customer interface & communication skills
Good or expert knowledge of MS excel, MS PowerPoint and MS access.
Ability to travel
Key criteria
1) Prior success stories in selling complex projects to E&C sector companies
2) Good written, communication & presentation skills
3) Good customer relationship management skills
4) Existing CXO level contacts in the relevant sector
5) Prior work Experience in Australia & New Zealand Geography is mandatory.
