Overview

The Director, Sales (Australia & Asia Pacific) will be responsible for account management and partner management of Pythian services in a sales territory. The position is compensated on a base and incentive plan (which is reviewed annually), with specific quotas and targets related to the territory`s revenue.

Responsibilities
  • Manage existing clients to maximize satisfaction
  • Prospect and attain new clients in assigned territory
  • Collect and analyze market data
  • Organize and deliver Pythian events in the assigned territory; with and without partners
  • Create written business proposals, as required
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts

Desired Skills & Experience

Education & Experience
  • Ten plus years of experience of proven, successful sales experience in the technology sector
  • Highly developed sales and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills both online and in the boardroom
  • Proven track record of building strong and lasting relationships with clients or potential customers
  • Ability to work remotely and independently from team
  • Must have proven experience in converting technical requirements into written business proposals
  • Time Management, scheduling and co-ordination
  • Significant experience with Salesforce.com
