Director - Market - Apple - Sydney

Job description
Apple is looking for a new Market Director to lead our retail teams and efforts in the Australia market. The MD is the key ambassador for his/her territory, who can effectively communicate across key partners to ensure resources and priorities align between global vision and local execution. The key strength of the MD is leadership and ability to drive a legacy of performance, direction, results, and culture even when not present in the stores on a daily basis.

Ability to represent the Apple brand and maintain the Apple culture broadly.
Proven track record of developing business growth strategies.

Description

The Australia Market Director serves as a key business leader with the ability to provide strategic direction and leadership to our high performing retail Apple stores. The MD brings a solid understanding of group and corporate dynamics and the demonstrated ability to employ sound judgment in complex situations. The ideal candidate has a passion for creating the ultimate customer experience and can inspire, lead and drive that passion to Market level. MDs have exceptional understanding and proven application of Sales and Service strategies, Small Business initiatives, merchandising & visual consistency and adherence, inventory, payroll and expense management. Developing Teams should be a towering strength, including building and enhancing performance, succession and talent planning processes, in order to efficiently and effectively prioritise key levers and initiatives to accelerate the development of others.

Additional Requirements

• Ideally located in Sydney
• Extensive travel required (2-3 weeks/month)
