If you are a talented ambitious Planning Director with a strong background in direct marketing, CRM and data analytics than this is the opportunity for you. With our continued business growth an exciting opportunity has opened at The Works for a Planning Director to join the team.
Your day to day
The successful candidate will bring a solid knowledge of CRM/DM planning and have a sound understanding of how this fits into the wider marketing mix.
Leading key strategic projects across CRM, DM, Digital and Data
Injects new ideas and thoughts to help the development of the strategic planning discipline
Aiding creativity in the development of outstanding ideas
Working closely with Project Management and Creative to develop and sell strategy and great ideas
Enthusiastically contribute to all new business pitches
Architect and facilitator of strategic workshops
Responsibility in the development of brilliant case studies and award submissions, with particular emphasis on effectiveness submissions

Desired Skills and Experience
We work to a non-traditional Agency model, placing creative people at the forefront of client relationships, with a strong focus on strategic and creative thinking. You will need to be collaborative while dealing with multiple client, agency & stakeholder contacts
Expert level understanding of direct marketing, CRM campaigns and digital strategy
Strong understanding of business processes and strategic planning
A strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and pay attention to detail
Ability to handle large, complex projects
Ability to grow and expand client relationships
Must be a leader and team player and have the ability to work with people in all levels of the at the client and at the company
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to answer challenging business issues
Strong in analytical thinking and approaches
Strong organisation and presentation skills
