SVP - Sales- Global - SiteMinder - Sydney


Job description
We are currently looking for senior people who are the best in their industry to join our growing executive team. This team will lead SiteMinder through a period of fast paced growth and global expansion, whilst maintaining SiteMinder's competitive advantage and culture of innovation.
This is a newly created role at SiteMinder, and it will give you the opportunity to shape our sales organisation. The role is charged with expanding SiteMinder's customer base across the globe, by defining regional sales strategies and building/ managing a high performing sales team. The primary objective for the SVP of Sales will be ensure that the global sales team achieves the businesses aims and financial targets.

As a new role that reports to the Managing Director, you will have the opportunity to implement innovative strategies and really put your mark on a global sales team.

Desired Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience managing a large, scale, high performing, global sales team. Ideally a reasonable segment of your sales team will have been phone based, high volume sales executives.

Your list of achievements must include successfully growing the sales capability of at least one global company, if not two or three, and growing the companies profit in line with this. Experience working with Software as a Service is highly desirable.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders are a must for this role.
