Haystac is looking for an experienced Account Director to play a lead role in its Haystac Positive Outcomes (HPO) team. HPO specialises in social marketing and behavioural change campaigns for Government, philanthropic and not-for-profit clients. Haystac is part of the Aegis Media Group, Australia’s largest media services company.

HPO has produced a range of highly acclaimed campaigns covering issues including road safety, binge drinking, anti-smoking, cultural diversity, youth engagement, electoral participation and international development.
Reporting to the Head of HPO, your responsibilities will include:
Leading the strategic direction and growth of projects and overseeing their day-to-day management
Identifying new business opportunities, leading agency response to briefs/tenders and pitching
Developing effective strategic communication plans and overseeing their implementation
Providing strategic counsel to clients at the most senior level and keeping key stakeholders informed
Providing guidance and mentoring to junior staff and managing their project roles
Facilitating organic growth of clients through identifying needs and opportunities
Managing client budgets and contributing to the profitability of the division
Contributing to the agency’s positive culture and to the growth and development of staff within the division.

Desired Skills and Experience
Ideally you will have:
Experience in a similar role (preferably agency)
An energetic, ‘can do’ approach
