Role Summary/Purpose
As our Technical Marketing & Product Applications Director (Exploration, Production, Refining and Downstream Processing), Asia-Pacific shall lead a team of high performing Product Applications/Technical Marketing professionals across the Asia region consisting of the following sub-regions (Australia-New Zealand, Korea, ASEAN, Japan and South Asia). This team will consist of technical experts with core experience in the exploration, production, refining and downstream processing industry segment

In This Role, You Will Lead a Team Of Industry Technical Experts Who Shall
Improve product/solution performance in the field using industry/application knowledge and expertise and lead troubleshooting efforts.
Apply differentiated value propositions in the different industrial segments by demonstrating technical expertise in the products and their application in industry thus enabling the sales team to build a strong differentiated pipeline based on local market needs, and capture growth opportunities in the APAC market
Convert key product differentiators into wins through intense technical and industry training and market messaging via presentations and competitive write-ups including position papers/policy themes
Ensure that GE products are specified in project documents early in project life-cycle
Drive New Product introduction and adoption by organizing and monitoring customer plant trials. Be responsible for the technical performance of the product at the recommended dosage to ensure trial success and long term business.
Own and organize product collateral including brochures and customer presentations, references, case studies and customer letters/testimonials.

Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/sciences
Minimum 5 years of relevant product management/commercial experience or a combination of product management/product line marketing of a technical product line or technical support function with cross-functional implications
Demonstrated leadership style showing capabilities to accelerate change, work in a rapidly changing environment to deliver business results.
Demonstrated ability to create a vision, a strategy around this vision and drive a an execution plan
Proven analytical skill set and strategic mindset with strong competence in value proposition analysis and market maps
Influencing and negotiating skills with experience working across cultures and countries
Proven communication skills including presentations development of technical papers and marketing documents
Ability to travel locally and internationally at short notice
