The Opportunity
As the Director, Government Relations you will be responsible for ensuring that Monash has a coordinated approach with all levels of government including ministers, shadow ministers, parliamentary secretaries, local members of parliament and the bureaucracy. You will work across the University to facilitate a seamless transition from one government body to the next, which is critical to the University's success with funding and other avenues of government support.

Desired Skills and Experience
As the successful candidate, you will have a sound understanding of the political, parliamentary and legislative processes at a state and federal level, experience in integrating or implementing strategic planning and policy, superior communication and international skills and well established leadership and relationship management skills.
