Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) provide institutionalclients with solutions across the debt to equity capital spectrum, paymentsystems, risk management and other banking services. We call this proposition'Total Capital Solutions'.

Your Team:
Equities Research conductsresearch on ASX-listed companies, and provides research services to the clientsof IB&M's Institutional Equities business. These institutional investorsinclude international clients as well as the major domestic clients in the Australianmarketplace.

Your impact & contribution:
Editorial
Provide editorialcontrol of all Equities Research product
Ensure theefficient production and distribution of company and industry research products
Service and supportequities research Analysts
Train analysts inthe use of research templates, and in Editorial and Style guidelines
Work closely withother publishing staff to coordinate research resourcing requirements
Manage the workflowand production of research through the publications process

Desktop Publishing

Creation of designand corporate access materials
Creation ofPowerPoint presentations
Formatting of adhocWord reports to send to external printers
Creation of Wordand PowerPoint templates and any other adhoc graphic materials, includingMarketing and Branding materials, adhering to Bank and Equities Research styleguidelines
Assist Worddeveloper in creation of Word macros

Your responsibilities:

Produce standalone research reports and produce CBAEquities Daily
Manage workload and workflow of Analyst reports
Organise Analysts – in Sydney and Melbourne - towork to production deadlines
Edit and proof-read Analyst research reports toensure research is in all respects suitable for institutional clients andconsistent across all products
Check research reports are compliant – liaisewith Compliance Department as required
Produce a weekly and other ad hoc reports forCommSec retail clients
Work closely with institutional sales and retailadvisers in undertaking these tasks
Manage electronic and physical distribution ofresearch reports
Maintain Editorial and Style guideline manuals
Regular daily shift is from 12pm to 8pm.Flexibility essential to cover for:
Peaks in workflow (eg Reporting Season) or leave absences.

Your experience and qualifications:

Essential

Degree qualified (or equivalent) in relevantdiscipline
Highly organized and ability to work to tightdeadlines
High level analytical skills
Experience in research in an Equities environment orsimilar
Understanding of financial concepts and analyses
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Understanding of Compliance issues
Highly team-oriented with proven skill in working withothers
Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Workingknowledge of Adobe CS5 InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat

Desirable

Strong knowledge ofeconomics
Knowledge ofdocument management systems
