Director - Operations - Food and Beverage - Accor - Sydney

With ten unique and highly individual food and beverage outlets, including the Northern Territory Tourism Hall of Fame recipient,“Sounds of Silence” we are seeking a unique individual for this unique business.

Reporting directly into the General Manager, the newly created Director of Operations – Food and Beverage role will be responsible for the overall day to day responsibility of all food and beverage outlets as well as kitchen operations as well as the strategic elements of the hotels large and complex food and beverage business.

This position will also be responsible forover seeing all operational aspects of the hotel in the absence of the General Manager (during leave periods/business travel).

Desired Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role, successful candidates will possess the following attributes:

· Minimum five years in a senior management position of a large, multi-outlet food and beverage operation
· Demonstrated experience in achieving outstanding guest satisfaction results
· A commitment to team development and training, a natural coach and leader
· Experience in a high profile or resort/remote destination
· Diploma or higher level qualification in hospitality or tourism
· Prior experience managing both food service operations as well as kitchen operations
· Demonstrated ability to drive revenues, contain costs, read, analyse and impact a profit and loss statement
· A shared desire to maximise Indigenous workforce participation in the tourism industry
· Full, open drivers’ license
· Demonstrated ability to roll out and measure Workplace Health and Safety initiatives and manage return to work plans
· An excellent communicator, organiser, strategist and motivator
