We are looking for an experienced, client-focused and technology-savvy Project Manager to join a boutique Language Service Provider in Brisbane, Australia.
Employment Type: Part-time with aim to full-time position – both office and home based (after initial training period work can be mostly done from home office)

Responsibilities will include:
Planning, scheduling and coordination of translation, localization and other language projects of all sizes (including rare languages)
Handling of multilingual publication processes including liaising with typesetters, translators, checkers and clients to achieve print ready artwork
Delivering projects to set deadlines and budgets
Allocating, managing and recruiting external vendor resources
Maximizing use of technology to support processes
Use of company internal memoQ server (CAT)
Handling client requests and providing proposals
Managing and reporting costs to ensure profitability targets are met
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
A minimum of 2-years project management experience within a localization organization, language service provider or related industries
In-depth knowledge of one or several translation technologies/ translation environment tools (ideally MemoQ)
Experience of managing all phases of the localization process, including translation, QA, DTP, software/help compilation and testing
Strong technical and troubleshooting ability
Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
Ability to multi-task, and effectively and efficiently manage their time
Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills in English
Proven experience working with clients to understand and meet requirements
Ideally university degree in translation or localization, computational linguistics or similar
Social media sales, MYOB, foreign language knowledge a plus
