Role Summary/Purpose:
The Integration lead in their role will:

- Lead the project delivery of integration web / middleware projects for front end and decision management systems

- Work with a diverse range of Business and IT teams to plan and execute development projects

- Improve processes and standards within GE Capital for delivery of Web projects

- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to internal stakeholders for web / integration related work

Essential Responsibilities:
Delivery and Stakeholder Management

- Lead the delivery of Web / Integration projects

- Representation in estimations for projects

- Work pro-actively with IT leaders, Business teams and Project managers to forecast demand for projects

- Collaborate with project managers to plan, monitor and control solution delivery. Assist in risk identification and mitigation. Assist in risk identification and mitigation

- Create strong relationships across GE IT to expedite solution delivery

- Key contact for internal stakeholders to help in technology and design direction

Quality Management

- Develop standards, templates, best practices and guidelines for work-products and processes

- Collaborate with project managers to plan, monitor and control solution delivery.

- Assist in risk identification and mitigation.

- Work with solution architects and vendors to ensure that quality standards are met

- Measure delivery performance and pro-actively evolve work-products and processes to improve it

Qualifications/Requirements:
1) 7+ years experience as development leader with managing multiple concurrent projects in JEE
2) 5+ yrs experience with IBM Websphere technology stack
3) Experience in leading onshore and offshore development teams
4) Strong presentation and interpersonal skills

1) Excellent troubleshooting skills, especially in a complex application stack.2) Experience in the following technology domains will be highly regarded:a. Document managementb. Oracle 10g and 11g database productsc. Computer Associates Security Products4) Proven skills in demand management, vendor management and stakeholder management5) Understanding of XML, Schema, SOAP, WSDL, Web services addressing, Web Services policy6) Strong problem solving and analytical skills7) Strong background in object-oriented architectures and proven experience in using design patterns, Object Oriented analysis and design.8) Java technologies * JDK, J2EE (Servlet, JavaBeans, JSP, etc.).9) Application design tools/framework - Struts, Ant, Eclipse, etc.10) Knowledge of Software Development Best practices.11) Experience with various code versioning systems such as Subversion etc.12) Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
