Your Opportunity

Reporting through to the Head of HR, ASEAN & Pacific, you will be responsible for developing and implementing local HR strategy in line with regional guidelines. You will be required to adapt, champion and execute the regional people strategy within Australia and New Zealand and will be responsible for delegating HR activities in order to deliver strategic initiatives. You will also be responsible for managing and developing the local HR team and take on full HR management responsibilities for the healthcare business.

Responsibilities include

Provide advice, analysis and strategic directions in areas of human resource planning, organisational development, human resources processes and employee development, engagement and relations.
Create country specific policies and guidelines in line with regional policy.
Drive organisational development and champion the implementation of change management.
Drive operational efficiency, effectiveness and productivity within the country.
Manage cost of all HR services provided to the local business within the set and agreed cost budgets and set the HR AOP.
Develop Strategic Workforce Planning based on discussions with local businesses and in consultation with the regional and sector HR and facilitate talent reviews.
Manage HR outsourcing activities to achieve business objectives, whilst ensuring compliance with local labour law.
Take responsibility for local employee communication in line with the local communications department and regional guidelines.
Represent the organisation externally.
Advise the local business on organisational culture and development, in line with regional direction.

We are looking for

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or Commerce, with evidence of continual learning within the HR space.
Commercially minded with a passion to make a difference through building business performance and organisational development.
Previous exposure to the complexities of a multinational matrix organisation.
The ability to balance strategic initiatives with day to day HR management responsibilities.
Exceptional organisational, time management and relationship building skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
A strong people manager with the ability to lead and direct a diverse team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with individuals across all levels
Strong willingness to continually champion process improvement and cultural and organisational change.
