Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shape how new and existing business grows. You leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, evangelize and educate new customers about Google's latest advertising products and technologies. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You understand the details of individual campaigns and explore the business needs of our key clients. Working with them, you help define the vision and strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

With a strong consulting focus and solution oriented approach, you will act as the first point of contact for customers around all key areas (training, product enhancement, global/regional campaign) and lead cross-functional effort to identify and solve any issues. You will onboard new customers and helping ensure complete adoption and satisfaction with the DoubleClick suite of buying solutions. The Account Manager role is focused on consulting, solution selling and change management, interacting with clients at the C-level. The role requires cross-functional coordination with other Google teams, working closely with technical consultants and support teams, Marketing, Billing and Collections teams, all the while ensuring close coordination with the other regional teams.

Responsibilities
Utilize a strong consultative approach with focus on building lasting partnerships with with senior executives, direct and indirect users of the product, and usage/repurchase decision makers.
Evangelize the media technology both internally and externally; monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and identify risks to the business, taking preemptive action to mitigate.



Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of hands-on relationship management experience in media, marketing or advertising.


Preferred Qualifications

Experience in driving new business and/or account management experience in online advertising, a combination of both.
Experience in building relationships at various levels, along with superior written and verbal communications skills and the ability to influence others.
Strong familiarity with digital media buying and selling processes, and a knowledge of advertising technologies including Ad Serving, Rich Media, Search Management, Real Time Bidding, DSPs, SSPs, and Ad Exchanges.
Demonstrated success at working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships across internal teams.
Ability to understand and absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience effectively.
Possess and be able to develop business contacts within the advertising, marketing and digital industries in Australia and New Zealand.
