Working closely with Project Manager, Technical Architect and Senior members of the IBM & Customers Management the Lead Architect is responsible for the end-to-end deployment of the CCB software from a functional perspective, included in this is the coordination and facilitation of design workshops, the change management process and configuration control. A prime responsibility is providing direction to Functional Architects and other team members to ensure the solution captures the Customer's Business requirements in a way that specifies system, application or process designs and architecture, so that both the Customer’s requirements and the overall solutions is fulfilled.
You will be aware of the future direction and trends in the Australian Utility industry and IT trends keeping this in mind when reviewing conceptual & detailed designs, test strategies and technical solutions while making recommendations in-line with IBM standards. To be successful in this role you will have significant experience within CCB software and how to optimize the software within a Utility business, a deep understanding of the business process and data used in Australian Utilities companies and the Australian Utilities business processes (Retail, Distribution, B2B and B2M). Experience managing resources, priorities, business objectives and policies are necessary.
