You will be a key member of our award winning Experience Design team and work across a range of digital projects. Digital design will be at the core of your conceptual thinking and you must be able to deliver ideas and creative design solutions that bring brands to life and ensure strong user engagement through multiple channels.
As a Senior Visual Designer/Art Director you’ll play a key role within the Experience Design team. You will display a natural passion for your craft and a strong well informed views on what’s current in the industry. Internally, you will help maintain and evolve the creative culture within the agency as well as mentor junior designers.
You will be expected to work closely with other designers, developers, project managers and clients to produce high-end digital design solutions and interactive concepts. Your interaction and visual design skills are top-notch, and you have a knack for making the complex clear for users and developers alike, as well as being able to:
Work closely with both internal, cross-functional teams and external clients on projects of varying length and complexity
Utilise your advanced communication skills to get the information you need to keep your vision moving along smoothly
Bring user-centred design (UCD) process methods to digital applications from concept to launch
Document and communicate your design ideas to fellow team members, stakeholders, and clients
Develop the visual and interaction elements of the user experience, applying your expert knowledge of typography, iconography, layout and brand identity
What you’ll have
A portfolio showcasing your outstanding visual design work
Proficiency in translating and extending concepts across digital platforms ‑ be it desktop, mobile, tablet or kiosk
Excellent knowledge of visual design fundamentals including layout, typography, iconography and brand identity
An up-to-date knowledge of current online interactive trends
Experience using a wide range of design tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite to communicate and present your ideas
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills and the ability to organise and self-direct to get things done
The ability to solve complex client problems and work effectively in cross disciplinary teams
Illustration and/or motion graphics experience and an active participation in the design community
