Director - Sales - Corporate & Government - AccorHotels - Sydney

Job description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen Accor's Corporate Office for the position of Director of Sales – Corporate & Government to join the National Australian Sales team on a 12 month parental leave contract.

Reporting to the Vice President Sales, Distribution & Revenue Australia, this role is responsible for creating and executing successful Corporate & Government strategic plans and activities.


Key responsibilities include:

Liaise with Senior management, Regions and Hotels to set policy and actions for Corporate & Government accounts.
Manage the Corporate National Sales team consisting of National Account Managers and Sales Coordinators.
Actively work with counter-parts in Accor Global Sales and Accor ASPAC Sales to drive agenda and revenue for AccorHotels Australia.
Drive innovation and develop loyalty (Accor Plus and LeClub AccorHotels, including Meeting Planner) and digitalization of segments.
Establish exclusive partnerships that will provide unique and preferred revenue stream opportunities.
Manage tactical offer campaigns through the development of need periods for appropriate hotels.
Work closely with National and Regional Revenue Management to manage pricing structure that allows performance whilst maintaining market competiveness.
Conduct quarterly review meetings re productivity of all relevant accounts and take action accordingly from results.
Establish and monitor key objectives for own segment and that agreed targets are achieved.
To set and manage departmental budgets both in terms of revenue and expenditure.

Desired Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will be commercially astute, influential, and have proven ability in stakeholder management and team leadership skills. You will be an established Sales leader with experience developing and driving the strategic direction of sales accounts within a Tourism & Hospitality environment.
