Provide specialist tax structuring advice on cross border and domestic investments and transactions, including holding and financing structures, acquisition and vendor due diligence and structuring , private equity fund structuring, capital market transactions and IPOs, business restructuring and infrastructure investments
Deal with complex and challenging areas including advice in relation to deal value tax impacts, share purchase agreements, financing arrangements, convertible instruments, tax rollovers, tax treaties, earn-out and deferred consideration arrangements, profit repatriation, etc.
Be the primary point of contact for global projects and transactions, and collaborate with Deloitte professionals globally (including corporate finance and global M&A tax teams)
Oversee and mentor upcoming talent in our team through structured coaching and on the job training
Ability to drive business development opportunities, including taking part in industry and/or transaction focus groups
Build strong internal and external relationships and take responsibility for developing contacts with clients
About your experience
Ideally you are currently a high performing Manager/Senior Manager/ Director within another Big 4 Chartered Accounting or Top Tier legal firm (or equivalent) in the international tax, M&A or corporate tax areas. Commercial awareness, with the ability to think strategically and team effectively with clients and other advisers, coupled with strong attention to detail and analytical skills will set you up for success.
Masters of Tax/ Law or CA, with previous international tax or M&A experience will be highly regarded. Degree qualified in Accounting or Law is essential as is a progressive aptitude to challenge yourself and achieve your maximum potential.
