Job Description
The Role
Oversee the successful delivery of the patient administration program comprising complex and high risk projects, using co-design procurement methodologies, to ensure delivery outcomes are achieved.
Directly support and responsible to the Chief Health Information Officer and then the Chief Technology Officer upon formal approval.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders by undertaking high level strategic negotiations, providing expert advice and resolving complex risks and issues within the Patient Administration Program.

Provide expert advice and strategic direction into the development of the Programs outcomes and deliverables to ensure they meet business case requirements, quality standards and comply with policies, strategies and architecture.


Lead the shared ICT Strategic vision and project interdependencies through the establishment of a set of linked plans to manage changes and to ensure all the components of the interoperability vision are successfully achieved.
Lead the integration and reconciliation of competing demands for multiple Program resources and maintain the overall integrity and coherence of the program. Initial focus will be on ensuring that the Implementation Planning Study is aligned to my client and Departmental expectations and clearly identifies a path for my client to enable semantic interoperability and the costs and benefits for doing so such that a final business case can be agreed.
Manage and report on program health and performance against program/project plans and budgets - monitoring the expenditures and costs against benefits that are realised as the program progresses.
Develop timely and relevant written submissions, briefs, presentations and information papers of a detailed and strategic nature as required in support of the Project Executive.
