Director - Supply Chain Management - Boeing - Brisbane


Job description
As a key member of the Operations leadership team, the SCM Director is responsible for leading the SCM function by developing processes, people and products to achieve optimal results for the organisation by promoting and supporting alignment and functional excellence across all BDA sites. Key responsibilities include supporting C3I Systems and Integrated Services and Support programs through expertise in Supplier and Supply Chain Management.



This Role Involves The Following Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and support to the SCM function to create a culture of continuous improvement by communication and deploying enterprise best practices and employee engagement to improve costs, quality, delivery, employee satisfaction, and customer satisfaction. Leads SM organisational initiatives to evaluate and improve programs, products and processes.
Ensure subcontracts and purchase orders are compliant with the requirements of the Boeing Company.
Lead the strategy for management of the Supply Chain function as a key enabler for growth of BDA’s sustainment business, leveraging relationships with suppliers and other parts of The Boeing Company.

Qualifications

BDA requires all applicants to be able to demonstrate the following essential qualifications:
Demonstrated leadership and management of a multi-skilled workforce, consistent with Boeing Leadership attributes
Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Project Management, Finance, or Law
Expertise in Supply Chain Management disciplines including Subcontract Management, Procurement, Warehousing and Distribution and Supply Chain Planning.
