TAFE NSW is a leader in the changing face of Vocational Education in Australia. TAFE New England comprises 11 campuses located across New England and is a strategic ally to business and to the community. The Institute is strengthening its new structure and business growth agenda with the new position of Director, Business & Strategy.



Reporting to the Institute Director, and as a key member of the Senior Executive Group, the Director, Business & Strategy plays a key role in leading and driving the Institute's direction. This is a high profile business and leadership role with the opportunity to make an important contribution to the Institute and to the business community and the economy of the New England region.

The primary focus for this exciting new role is to lead and drive business growth for the Institute. Important aspects to the role are directing strategy development and developing strong business relationships. The role also provides leadership to the functions of Strategy & Innovation, Marketing & Business Relationships, Finance and the State Co-ordinator for Transport & Logistics curriculum development, and a substantial team of almost 30 people.

You are a sound strategist but your real strengths are business development, relationship building and leadership. You are business minded, entrepreneurial, a confident communicator and influencer. This is a new role that will allow you to stamp your style, provide clear direction, team leadership and market influence, while providing you with future career alternatives and a regional lifestyle.
