Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Account Director to join Neo@Ogilvy, Ogilvy & Mather’s global media agency and performance marketing network.

The Account Director (AD) is accountable for all aspects of their assigned client’s digital / direct response campaigns, with increased ownership of the client’s media services relationship and is expected to work closely with partner agencies at senior levels to set strategic tone for their accounts. The AD is responsible for managing a planning team – developing their skills, evaluating their performance and managing their growth. It is expected that the AD will participate in new business pitches and other areas of importance at the department and agency level.

This position is essential to the day-to-day running of media accounts and requires an individual that works well in a team-based, fast paced, detail-oriented environment. The role requires an ability to be highly motivated, numerate and articulate, both when speaking to clients, writing documents and analysing results. Ideal candidate also required to show initiative and pro-activity in growing the media account portfolio, increasing efficiencies and identifying new client opportunities.

Effectively in this role you are responsible for;
Overseeing on all aspects of client’s media services.
Responsible for overall media objectives and strategies that fulfil client business objectives.
Lead creation of all important plans and presentations.
Demonstrate thought leadership and innovation for enhanced media plans and results.
Foster cross-agency relationships with account, production, and outside partners
Train, motivate and develop Account Managers, Media Planners, Account Executives.
Qualifications

6-8 years media experience, including at least 3 years in interactive / digital media planning
Proven leadership skills and management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including presentation and facilitation)
Diverse account background, including direct response / B2B experience
Be comfortable managing multiple campaigns of varying size and objectives simultaneously
Experience using DoubleClick and Google technologies (DCM, DBM, GA, GTM) or equivalents
Good knowledge of the fundamentals of ad serving and display technologies
Ability to think creatively, strategically as well as identify and resolve problems
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to form strong relationships with clients and internal teams
Adaptable to change with proficiency in managing multiple projects; ability to multi-task, organise, prioritise and structure workload working across multiple clients
Ability to work independently while effectively communicating campaign specific analysis to teams and clients
Passion for the emerging media and the digital marketplace in general; demonstrates interest and initiative to test channels and tactics
