Senior Director - Systems Support Delivery - High End Hardware - Oracle - Sydney


Job description
Due to an internal promotion, we need an experienced Systems Support Director to lead a large team of support professionals. You will manage a national organisation delivering high-end hardware support to our customers across all industry sectors.

Your senior management experience is essential to success in this position as there is an experienced team of managers and staff that will look to you for direction and leadership. You will manage a team of dedicated manager-level direct reports; experience in a similar Director level position is crucial.

We support most of ANZ’s top company’s mission critical systems 24/7. Your commitment and flexibility will be required to be successful in this challenging position.
Only those who meet the skills & experience criteria and can demonstrate experience will be considered. Ideally you will have experience in a number of roles, in multiple organisations as we need breadth and depth of experience.

Desired Skills and Experience
To be considered, you will have:
Extensive systems support experience -vendor, integrator or outsourced environment essential
Complex systems background – enterprise level, high-end servers, data centres & storage
Great leadership skills – demonstrated experience leading manager-level direct reports plus matrix (indirect) teams & onsite delivery functions
Relationships – you need the ability to work with other departments (hardware and support sales, logistics, backline support) to achieve the business goals
Operational effectiveness - run a thriving business with continuous improvement focus
Commercial savvy - P&L ownership, reporting, forecasting & budgeting, drive the numbers
Customer commitment - quality assurance, relationship management & customer partnership
Collaborative approach - complex team structure, build your knowledge & 'brand' quickly
Strategic thinking - challenge status quo and creating local strategies in line with global plans
Change experience- lead change with pace, positivity & focusing on business outcomes
