This challenging and exciting role is not your typical procurement position. It offers diversity through strategic sourcing and category management; implementing procurement best practices; and aligning business and procurement strategies.

With an initial focus on Cereals and Grains, this role will see you ensuring continuity of supply, proactive innovation and cost-competitive solutions. Reporting to the Oceania Procurement Manager for Direct Materials, you will:

· Lead, develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies through a structured procurement process
· Identify, manage and prioritise sourcing initiatives with a view to delivering maximum value to the business
· Drive a strategic approach to supplier relationship management
· Drive key projects across the Direct Materials team and the broader Procurement team, including procurement best practices

An excellent negotiator and project manager, you’ll need strong commercial acumen, consultative flair, proven strategic ability, and strong presentation and interpersonal skills. A relevant degree, coupled with solid experience in the procurement of packaging or raw ingredients, preferably in a multi-national or complex local environment, will see you succeed in this role.­­­­­­­­­­
