Job Description
Located in Boronia at our market leading pharmaceutical manufacturing site we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Director to join our Site Leadership Team. You will support the Site Director and Leadership team by providing key financial support, guidance and governance. Reporting to the Vice President, GMS Finance Emerging Markets & Asia Pacific (UK) with a dotted line to the Site Director - GMS Boronia, this role will lead key activities that include budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, review of tactical decision making support mechanisms and provide oversight of governance issues.


You will be responsible for working with Manufacturing Strategy and Commercial operations in developing the GMS Boronia site by identifying and effectively managing risks and opportunities including lowering costs through capacity utilization, economies of scale and identification of efficiencies. You will utilise your strategic capability to deliver growth opportunities and support New Product Introduction of non commercialised assets.

Some Of The Key Accountabilities Include

• Provide financial analysis and counsel and work with the Site Directors and Business Partners to oversee all financial matters relating to GMS Boronia business.
• Ensure financial governance of operations at Boronia to ensure correct reporting of financial performance within corporate systems.
• Evaluate business proposals and provide financial advice and analysis on Network Strategy proposals.
• Provide analysis, insight and commentary of key variances and business drivers and lead any required action to mitigate risks or maximise opportunities.
• Actively engage with the Pharma Commercial division on financial and business matters.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities to grow the GMS Boronia business in new and emerging markets including developing strategic plans to achieve new business opportunities.
• Optimise GMS opportunities by liaising with technical development, operational staff, industry associations, government bodies, regulators and other key stakeholders to ensure new business opportunities are identified and followed through.
• Accountable for the development and annual refreshing of the GMS Boronia site strategy in collaboration with key business stakeholders.
• Development of the annual Business Plan and monthly Forecasts in conjunction with other SLT members by integrating your wider knowledge of the business environment into ways of improving performance and maximising financial returns.

You will have demonstrable experience in senior business partnering leadership roles and be adept at working within a matrix structure of senior local and global stakeholders, experience in budgetary control and cost management and complex decision support across a broad range of issues and proposals.

Advanced influencing, relationship building, strategic outlook, analytical and problem solving skills along with CPA/CA qualifications and senior finance experience in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing will be highly regarded. Experience with SAP is beneficial.
