Based in Surry Hills , as the Creative Director for delicious, you will be the lead and primary voice that influences all art design and initiatives within a multi-platform environment. Inspirational, innovative and evangelical in your approach, you will plan, create and present powerful concepts and creative solutions that drive brand engagement.



In this position you will have a small team to lead and work in collaboration with both the Editor-in-chief, Food Director, Creative and Digital teams to establish visual tone, fonts and imagery that will effectively communicate with the audience and achieve brand growth strategies within a premium market.

Core to this role will be your ability to inspire and lead an artistic team to build, maintain and elevate artistic integrity of the delicious brand by bringing food and lifestyle stories together in a way that both engages and delights our target audience.

The Person

To be success in this role you will have an extensive background in creative direction with a particular focus on food , lifestyle or fashion.

Your experience working on prestige publications and leading the creative direction of these will pave the way forward. Your media background is paramount for this opportunity coupled with your demonstrated capability to manage and integrate emerging digital initiatives into your overarching strategy.

You will be an inspiring and empowering leader and have mentored and coached teams; enhancing individual development. Additionally, you will possess exceptional stakeholder management ability, being able to negotiate and influence multiple and significant parties within a complex, matrix organisation. With a broad network of contributors you will leverage your sound relationships with stylists and photographers alike to work collectively and proactively for you.

Presenting with sound commercial acumen, you will clearly understand the impact of circulation verse subscriptions and how your creative strategy can positively contribute to this.
